Improved: Enhancements to myLumivero login (used for NVivo Transcription). See myLumivero in NVivo release 1 Help for more information.

Added: The number of items selected in the list view is now displayed.
Added: Coordinates are shown when coding a picture or coding by region in a PDF.
Added: You can now link a media file to a blank audio or video file created in NVivo.
Improved: REFI-QDA project transfers. Import/export of memos and annotations and export of sets now supported.
Improved: General security improvements.
Resolved: Adding content before existing coded content could cause the new content to be coded to the node.
Resolved: Various highlighting issues with transcript content.
Resolved: Changing the location of an embedded media file could cause NVivo to close unexpectedly.

Resolved: The cursor wasn't visible when a user entered edit mode for an image or media file.
Resolved: File encoding options are now offered directly to users when importing attribute values.
Resolved: When an attribute value is added to a concept map it is now grayed out to indicate it cannot be selected again.

Improved: You can now paste items like documents and pictures to a set via the right-click context menu.
Improved: When saving an edit to a transcript row, the cursor now scrolls to the top of the row being edited.
Resolved: Some media files exported from NVivo and then imported were blank.
Resolved: Accessing the Text Search Query from a word cloud via a left click or double click could produce different results.
Resolved: If you delete a media file with a transcript imported from NVivo Transcription, you can now undo the delete action.
Resolved: Dates now display correctly for NCapture files when the NVivo UI is set to a language other than English.
Resolved: Some items didn't print from List View.
Resolved: Transcript row IDs sometimes didn't display in the correct order.
Resolved: NVivo now ignores extra white space in a document so that a duplicate copy of the document is not created when merging projects.

Added: VoiceOver support and tooltips added for Classification List view and Attribute icons.
Added: Japanese default stop words.
Added: Support for Japanese interface language.
Added: Word frequency queries now detect Japanese semantic boundaries.
Added: You can access NVivo Transcription from the context menu.
Added: You can copy or move the results of a Matrix Coding query into the Nodes folder — this creates a hierarchical node structure based on the cells within the matrix.
Improved: You can now select and delete multiple transcript entries (using the keyboard and the mouse).
Improved: Classification terminology has been revised for French user interface.
Improved: Transcript entries exported from NVivo for Mac can now be imported.
Resolved: NVivo would close unexpectedly when deleting items from search results.
Resolved: Transcripts reviewed in NVivo 12 (Windows) displayed as unreviewed in converted projects.
Resolved: Coding density was not shown at auto coded nodes.
Resolved: Importing an NVivo Transcription file showed the timestamp in the Speaker column.

Added: The ability to transcribe audio and video files from NVivo with the automated transcription service NVivo Transcription.

Added: The ability to generate coding comparison queries for datasets; character, sentence and paragraph calculations are supported.
Improved: When pasting shapes into Concept Maps using the context menu, the shapes are now positioned at the cursor and are in focus.
Improved: When coding using Drag and Drop, the mouse cursor now transitions to a hand to indicate when to begin dragging.
Improved: Column headers for Matrix Coding Queries and Node Matrices now wrap to display the entire heading.
Resolved: Text copied and pasted from an MS Word document was appearing in NVivo as an image.

Added: Auto coding that will create a case for each speaker in a transcript and code the response at that case.
Added: The ability to expand the Detail View to full screen.
Added: Concept Maps to explore and present connections in your data.
Added: A new feedback mechanism allowing you to suggest a new feature or to report a bug.
Added: Ability to automatically display the user interface language in French, German and Spanish (Mexico) based on the preferred language in Mac OS X System Preferences.
Improved: The adding and editing of case attributes and values can now be done in List View.
Improved: Mind maps have improved keyboard shortcuts, and the Options panel can now be hidden.
Improved: When reviewing a node containing content from datasets, you can now view the context or spread the coding to the surrounding words or entire cell.
