Uninstalling NCapture

If NCapture for Chrome was installed from the Chrome Webstore, then it can be removed from within Google Chrome:

  1. Click the Chrome menu on the browser toolbar.

  2. Click Tools.

  3. Click Extensions.

  4. Click the trash can icon by the NCapture extension.

  5. Click Remove.

For Windows computers, if NCapture for Chrome was installed with NVivo 10 for Windows or from a downloaded file, you can uninstall NCapture through Control Panel.

For computers running:

  • Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8, use Uninstall a program in the Control Panel.

  • Windows XP, use Add or Remove Programs

NOTE  

  • You may need to uninstall using both of the above methods to completely remove NCapture.

  • If you remove NCapture for Chrome, and then subsequently decide to re-install it, you will need to do so from the Chrome Web Store—refer to Standard installation for more information.
