October 2022 (Release 1.7.1)

  • Improved: Data access permissions to enable seamless launching of the NVivo application.

  • Improved: Added tooltips in supported languages for the ribbon menu items.

  • Improved: Text query functionality to query words or phrases in annotations.

  • Improved: Users can now export coded references (linked items such as annotations) as endnotes.

  • Improved: Enhanced the import and export functionality for REFI-QDA (Text, PDF, Picture, Audio, Video) in new and backward compatible formats.

    Project files created in release 1.6 are NOT BACKWARDS-COMPATIBLE with any earlier versions of NVivo, including releases 1.0–1.5.
